Where do I fill up PMP Application?

You need to submit PMP application from PMI website. However it is important that you carefully read the instructions regarding your eligibility and provide necessary data about your project management experience while filling the application.

When should one take PMP certification?

Anyone who has 3-5 years of experience performing any of the project management related work activities can prepare and appear for PMP certification. This is the right time to get holistic understanding of all aspects of project management. It is not necessary to have performed work in all spheres of management e.g. in your experience you may not have performed procurement of resources but worked only in product quality management. Still you can take PMP exam.

What is validity of PMP certification?

PMP certification is valid for 36 months and you need to renew the same by earning at least 60 PDUs within that period since last certification.

What is the cost of PMP Exam fee?

Cost of PMP Exam is different for PMI members and non-members. The price is ₹24,708 (Approx 289$) for members and ₹50,025 (Approx 585$) for non-PMI members. Hence it is advised to get PMI membership, which also provides numerous other benefits such as educational resources. (Exam fee will only be required after your application has been accepted and you are ready to schedule your exam.)
